NHS Covid-19 Pass

What is the NHS Covid Pass?

The NHS COVID Pass is a way to show your coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination status or test results if you need to when you travel abroad.

You do not need to show an NHS COVID Pass for domestic events and venues in England.

Who can get a NHS Covid Pass?

You can get an NHS COVID Pass for travel if you are aged 5 or over.

An NHS COVID Pass for travel can be based on either your vaccination status or on a positive NHS PCR test result in the last 180 days (6 months).

You can no longer get an NHS COVID Pass based on a medical exemption. But, if you already have a medical exemption, this will show in the NHS App when you select “Check your COVID-19 vaccine record”.

You can obtain your NHS covid pass by downloading the NHS App and creating an account.

You can also request and email or paper copy of your NHS covid pass via NHS 119 or https://www.nhs.uk/

NHS covid passes cannot be accessed via proxy accounts on the NHS app. If you are needing a covid pass for the person you hold a proxy account for, please contact 119 or visit the NHS website to request an email or paper covid pass.
